Automation Software Engineer (m/f/d) in the Battery Solutions division
YOUR TASKS:
- Professional processing of projects and development of solutions in the field of control technology/software for systems for the large-scale production of battery cells in close cooperation with the Sovema Group engineering team in Italy
- International cooperation in the conception, planning and development of automation systems with the mechanical and electrical design department
- Checking customer requirements, PLC programming including creation and further development of the control software
- Programming electrical interfaces to customer-specific ERP and MES systems
- Collaboration on risk analyses and safety considerations as well as carrying out tests and commissioning the software at the customer's site
- Interface clarification and contact person for the customer and all other departments involved in the project within the Group
YOUR PROFILE:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or mechatronics
- Very good technical understanding and desirable knowledge of relevant processes for battery production or in the packaging sector
- Several years of professional experience in engineering desirable, ideally in the field of production systems for battery production
- Confident handling of common IT tools, Siemens TIA, WinCC and SAP
- Fluent in German and English
- Flexible, committed team player with an independent and structured way of working, quick comprehension and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel
